Banksy is a mysterious graffiti artist, painter and activist who is based in England. Most of his street art is done with stencils and spray paint and combines dark humor with social commentary.
A documentary about Banksy's work, Exit Through the Giftshop, was released in 2010 and earned an Academy Award nomination.
