Doctor Who is a British science fiction tv show which follows the adventures of 'The Doctor' as he explores an infinite number of worlds via a time machine called the TARDIS. The show premiered in 1963 and is considered the longest running sci-fi program in history.
The Doctor has been portrayed by 11 different actors including Tom Baker, David Tennant and Matt Smith, who is currently in the role.
