Details: This poster shows a man in an elaborate headdress carrying a woman. In front of them is a car with tinted windows and artwork painted on the side. At the bottom it says Aztec Pride.
The Aztecs is a collective term used for all of the Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican peoples who built an extensive empire in the late Postclassic period in the 14th, 15th and 16th centuries in Central Mexico. Aztec culture had rich and complex mythological and religious traditions. The Aztecs spoke Classical Nahuatl, and some contemporary Nahuatl speakers identify themselves as Aztecs.
