Batman: Arkham Asylum is an action adventure video game released in 2009 for Playstation 3, XBox 360 and Microsoft windows. Arkham is one of the first video games to be based almost entirely on the DC Comics mythos for Batman and not on some other media. It is listed in the Guiness Book of World Records as "The Most Critically Acclaimed Superhero Game" and won several awards after it's release.
