Details: Vincent van Gogh (1853 - 1890) Dutch impressionist mainly working in the south of France. His works are notable for their rough beauty and honesty, his saturated colors and extreme perspectives. His strong personality produced an impact on modern art like only few other artists in history. After many difficult years he died at the age of 37, known only to a handful of people. His fame came after his death. This is a 16 Month Calendar

Vincent Willem van Gogh (30 March 1853 - 29 July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist artist. Some of his paintings are now among the world's best known, most popular and expensive works of art. Most of his best-known works were produced in the final two years of his life, during which time he cut off part of his left ear following a breakdown in his friendship with Paul Gauguin. After this he suffered recurrent bouts of mental illness, which led to his suicide. His popular works include The Starry Night, Starry Night Over the Rhone, The Night Cafe, Bedroom in Arles, Sunflowers, Cafe Terrace at Night.
