Details: This poster shows an artistic cartoon of Alex, with one outlined eye and a bowler hat. At the top it says 'Announcing the breakthrough presentation of Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange for the millions were not allowed to see it until now!' In the middle it says 'Stanley Kubrick's Clockwork Orange'.

A Clockwork Orange is a 1971 film adaption of the novel A Clockwork Orange (1962), by Anthony Burgess. The adaptation was produced, written and directed, by Stanley Kubrick. It stars Malcolm McDowell as Alex de Large, whose pleasures are classical music (especially Beethoven), rape, and ultraviolence. He narrates most of the film in Nadsat, the fractured, contemporary adolescent argot comprising Slavic, English, and Cockney slang.
