Details: Inspired by the four-footed housemates of artist B. "Hap" Kliban (American, 1935–1990), Cat and his quirky cartoon cohorts leapt onto the national scene in the mid-1970s. Since then, the striped and playful pussycats have gone global, delighting legions of two-leggers who perhaps see something of their own purrsonalities displayed in Kliban's colorful fantasies. Kliban's cats will have you smiling throughout 2013.
