Details: This door poster shows Charlie Chaplin with his famous bowler hat, cane, and mustache.

Sir Charles Spencer "Charlie" Chaplin (18889-1977) was probably the best known comic actor and director of the Silent Film Era. His famous character, The Little Tramp, appeared in over nine films, including Modern Times, The Immigrant, and The Gold Rush. His first speaking picture or "talkie" was The Great Dictator (1940) which spoofed Hitler and Nazism. Chaplin moved to Switzerland as his health declined in the 1960s and 1970s and was burried there after his death in 1977.
