Details: This poster of Christ healing a paralyzed man is by Bartolome Murillo.
Bartolome Esteban Murillo (December 31, 1617- April 3, 1682) was a Baroque painter from Seville Spain. Although he is best known for his religious works, Murillo also produced a considerable number of paintings of contemporary women and children. These lively, realist portraits of flower girls, street urchins, and beggars constitute an extensive and appealing record of the everyday life of his times. His work was heavily influenced by other Baroque artists such as Juan del Castillo, Jusepe de Ribera and Alonzo Cano.
This poster is usually printed with a thin white edge border.
