Deigo Rivera (1886-1957) was a Mexican painter, best known for his many large murals. He was married to fellow painter Frida Kahlo and was an active member of the Mexican Comunist party. He developed a mural style that was influenced by the traditional Mayan paintings of Mexico and his murals often told stories.
