Details: This poster is a rendering of the Burial Mask of Tutankhamun, or King Tut. The background is off white.

Tutankhamun (1341 BC-1323 BC) or King Tut, also called The Boy King because of his young age was an Egyptian Pharoah during the 18th Dynasty. His tomb was discovered entirely intact by Howard Carter in 1922, and the resulting publicity renewed general public interest in Ancient Egyptian History. The Treasures of Tutankhamun exhibit at the British Museum in London ran from 1972-1979, and in 1976 when it moved temporarily to The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York over 8 million people attended.

This poster is usually printed with a thin white edge border.
