Jack Johnson is an American singer and songwriter. He was born in Ouhu, Hawaii and graduated from The University of California, Santa Barbara with a film degree. He released his first studio album, Brushfire Fairytales, in 2001. His music is noted for it's soft rock and mellow sound. His fourth album, Sleep Through Static, was recorded entirely using solar energy.
