Details: This poster shows a close up of a male lion.

The lion is a mammal and one of four big cats . The lion is the second largest cat, after the tiger. The male lion is easily recognized by his mane. Being smaller and lighter, lionesses are more agile and faster and do the pride's hunting, while the stronger males patrol the territory and protect the pride. Lions spend a lot of their time resting. They are inactive for about 20 hours per day.
