Pink Floyd was an English psychedilic rock band, noted for their philosophical lyrics and elaborate stage shows. They were best known for their popular concept album Dark Side of the Moon as well as the rock opera The Wall. Although Pink Floyd disbanded in 1985 with the departure of lead singer Roger Waters they did reuinite in 2005 to play at the Live 8 concert.
