Resident Evil is a media franchise consisting of video games, comic books, novelizations and films. The main story line focuses on survival in a world filled with infected zombie-like humans. There are currently 8 titles in the game series, as well as a 2002 film version directed by Paul Anderson and starrinf Milla Jovovich.
