Details: This poster is a photograph of a tiger sitting on a rock, with a sunset in the background.
The tiger is a mammal in the "Big Cat" or Felidae family. There were nine known modern sub species of tiger, three of which are now extinct. The remaining six sub species are considered endagered species and most of the countries where tigers are found in the wild have conservation programs and laws in place. In the wild tigers are found mostly in eastern Asia, although they can be found in captivity all over the world. It is estimated that there are more captive tigers in America than in the wild. While in the wild tigers eat large and medium sized animals, and they live in grassy planes areas, their stripes providing camoflauge. No two tigers have identical stripes, and they can be used for identifying purposes, like human finger prints.
