Sin City (2005) is an American film noir written, produced and directed by Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller based on Miler's graphic novel series. Sin City focuses mainly on three stories in the series, The Hard Goodbye, The Big Fat Kill and That Yellow Bastard. The film stars Bruce Willis as Hartigan, Jessica Alba as Nancy, Nick Stahl as Junior, Clive Owen as Dwight, Rosario Dawson as Gail, Mickey Rourke as Marv, Elijah Wood as Kevin. The film opened to good reviews and was considered a commericial success. A script for a sequel was reportedly finished in 2009.
