Star Trek is a science fiction television series, created by Gene Roddenberry, that was telecast in the United States of America and southern Canada by NBC-TV from September 8, 1966, through June 3, 1969. The original Star Trek series follows the adventures of the starship Enterprise and its crew, led by Captain James T.
