The Smiths were an English rock band formed in 1982. Its members included Morrisey, JOhnny Marr, Andy Rourke and Mike Joyce. Their debut, self titles album was released in 1984. They released 4 more albums, Meat is Murder, The Queen is Dead, and Strangeways, Here We Come. They broke up in 1987 after Marr left the band.
