Details: This is a poster of Drum Bridge at Meguro, by Utagawa Hiroshige. It shows a scene of a bridge over a river on a snowy evening. There are people crossing the bridge.
Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) was a Japanese Uhiyo-e artist. The shon of a shogun, Hiroshiye studied as an apprentice under Utagaw Toyohiro. His early work focused largely on women and actors but her began painting landscapes in 1831. After his death, in 1859, a collection of his prints entitled One Hundred Famous Views of Edo was published.
