Details: This poster is of Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night over the Rhone. It is a river beneath a dark blue sky full of yellow stars. On the dark river, you can see bright gold reflections of light coming from the buildings in the distance. Behind the two people walking on the bank you can also see two small boats.
Starry Night over the Rhone (September 1888) is one of Vincent van Gogh's paintings of Arles at night. The night sky and the effects of light at night provided the subject for some of his most famous paintings, including Cafe Terrace at Night (painted earlier the same month) and the later canvas from Saint-Remy, The Starry Night.
