The Guardian Project is a fictional superhero squad created by comic book mogul Stan Lee in conjunction with the NHL for the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. Each NHL Franchise is represented by one of the 30 heros, titled"Guardian". They are typically named in accordance with the name of the team (e.g. The Canuck for the Vancouver Canucks). The Toronto Maple Leafs are a professional ice hockey team based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They are members of the Northeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League (NHL). The organization, one of the Original Six members of the NHL, is officially known as the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club, owned by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. (MLSE). They play at the Air Canada Centre (ACC).
